Marc Bober and Doug Brandenburg started Industrial Steam Cleaning of Atlanta (ISC) in February 2005 in because they wanted to provide restaurant owners with a better way to get their kitchen exhaust systems cleaned.
Marc and Doug were told by restaurant owners that hood cleaners don’t return phone calls; don’t call to schedule hood cleanings; and sometimes when they do schedule cleanings, they don’t show up. In addition, if the kitchen was left a mess or the fan wasn’t working, the restaurant owners may never hear from their hood cleaners again. Marc and Doug saw this as a unique opportunity to provide quality customer service to commercial kitchen owners across Georgia and ISC of Atlanta grew rapidly by providing unheard of customer service. In 2013, ISC of Atlanta merged with Premier Grease & Recycling of Athens, Georgia. Premier Grease & Recycling had previously provided grease trap cleaning and grease recycling services to restaurants owners from Athens to Savannah and Jacksonville. With the merger of the two firms, commercial kitchen operators now had only one call to make for all for all of their grease removal and recycling needs. The freshly minted Premier Grease is proud to count more than 1400 commercial kitchens among our valued clients and operates as the one-stop shop for all grease removal services for owners of commercial kitchens in Georgia, North Florida and the Carolinas. |
Marc Bober OWNERMarc Bober is one of the co-founders of Industrial Steam Cleaning (ISC) of Atlanta. He is currently responsible for oversight of operations and processes, scheduling of hood cleaning services, as well as Premier Grease’s accounting, safety program, and human resources.
Marc was previously employed as a process consultant with Accenture Consulting, where he was in charge of re-engineering programs for Fortune 500 companies, and with R.S. Andrews, where he re-engineered processes to reduce costs and increase profits. All total Marc boasts more than a dozen years of restaurant/hospitality industry experience. Marc is part of a two-person team that built the largest hood cleaning company in Georgia, more than double the size of any other Industry Steam Cleaning dealer nationwide. Marc earned his B.S. in Finance from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. Marc and his wife have two daughters. He enjoys sports, personal finance and financial planning but most of all spending time with his family and investing time with his children. Doug Brandenburg OWNERDoug Brandenburg is one of the co-founders of ISC of Atlanta. He currently champions the sales, marketing and customer service functions for Premier Grease. Doug brings more than 12 years restaurant industry experience to his position and was formerly a marketing manager for Red Bull Energy Drink.
Doug is part of a two-person team that built the largest hood cleaning company in Georgia, more than double the size of any other Industry Steam Cleaning dealer nationwide. Doug earned a B.S. from Penn State University and is certified by Phil Ackland as a Commercial Kitchen Fire Investigation & Prevention Specialist. Doug and his wife have a new baby daughter. He enjoys music, festivals, gardening, traveling and scuba diving and is a season ticket holder for the Atlanta Falcons. Eric S. Goodman OWNEREric Goodman founded Premier Grease Recycling while attending The University of Georgia. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Eric expanded his grease recycling business from Athens to Atlanta. Eric continued to expand his business throughout the Atlanta and surrounding areas, eventually partnering with ISC, Marc and Doug’s hood cleaning company. Eric continued the expansion of the new Premier Grease, grease recycling and hood cleaning company, to the South Georgia and North Florida Coastal Branch.
Eric, Marc, and Doug are now the largest full service restaurant grease recycling company in the South East United States. Eric runs the Coastal branch expanding from Savannah to Beaufort to Daytona Beach, and is head of Strategic Growth and Development for the Company. Eric lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs (especially when they play Penn State), fishing, and summer days at the pool with his family. |
